The Decatur County United Fund received a $80,000 contribution from Honda to address education, health and financial stability for the community of Decatur County. This contribution will go toward the 2024 Campaign “Making Connections Together” goal of $555,000.

“The contribution will enable Decatur County United Fund to support the 2024 Campaign. This campaign aims to improve the quality of life for the most vulnerable by supporting sixteen nonprofits that offer programs and services,” said Joane Cunningham, Executive Director for the United Fund. “These organizations address issues such as health & dental services, transportation, child abuse, recovery & substance abuse services, domestic violence services, early education programs, mentoring, and much more. All of which are necessary for our community and this contribution is valuable in helping all of them. We thank Honda for being as active member in our community through its leadership and support.”
