WTRE Celebrated the “Farmer of the Day” this year at the Decatur County Fair.
Kylie Huber Olsen, a 3rd generation farmer, from the St. Paul area, is our Farmer of the Day. Kylie and her husband Justin and 2 daughters – Sadie and Nora, continue to raise cow/calves at their home and Kylie also works with her parents on their farm, also with cow/calf pairs. Kylie grew up on a Dairy farm that began with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Huber and followed suit with parents Brian and Shirley Huber, who recently retired their dairy herd. Kylie and her siblings all spent time at the barn and continue, along with the grandkids, to be a part of the daily landscape at the farm. Kylie is also a Vet Tech, with several years experience, and is currently enjoying being a stay at home Mom and working with her family.
