Angela Sue Atchley, 54, of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at
Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born on September 26, 1969 in Greensburg,
the daughter of Chester Bryan and Sarah Lou (McQueary) Atchley. She was a
lifelong resident of Decatur County. She graduated from Indiana University as a
dental assistant. Angela enjoyed crocheting, music, singing, piano and she loved
to color. She is survived by her fiancé, Fred Peer; her sisters, Betty Lou
Maxwell and Judy Gayle (Jerry) Shoopman; a brother, Gary Chester Atchley; nieces
and nephews, Jeff Floyd, Kevin Floyd, Tami Marshall, Lori Helms, Mark Atchley,
Lisa McNealy, Julie Vanderbur, Kristy Chapman and Bryan Atchley. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Sarah Atchley; brother, Daniel Lee
Atchley and sister-in-law, Ruth Atchley. Funeral services will be held at 2:00
P.M. on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff
Floyd officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, June 7 from
12:00 P.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial
contributions may be made to Diabetes Association through the funeral home.
